This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, energetic candidate to join a highly regarded midsize law firm with a collegial atmosphere. Position Summary The Office Clerk supports daily office operations by managing mail, maintaining supplies and equipment, and assisting staff and attorneys with administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Turn on and off Xerox copiers and other necessary office machines; clean and restock paper during opening and closing routines Monitor incoming and outgoing faxes and email, with special attention to case-related mail distribution Check the intranet calendar for meeting and setup needs, and send calendar invitations as required Place and coordinate meal orders for meetings and events Periodically inspect hallways and common areas for cleanliness and organization Handle internal and external mail deliveries, including FedEx, USPS, and UPS packages Restock office supplies, snacks, and beverages, and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and lounge areas Make copies for briefs and other projects Process postage using Stamps.com Organize books and maintain the library area Scan and distribute case-related mail to assigned attorneys and legal assistants Sort, file, and organize documents as needed Assemble documents, including velobinding and spiral binding Other responsibilities that may be identified and/or assigned as necessary Student applications are welcome provided the applicant can work a minimum of 25 hours per week. No law firm experience is necessary, but some prior experience working in an office setting is a plus.
