Clerical Apply Description Job Summary:

The scales Clerk performs a variety of clerical, recordkeeping, and patron service tasks to assist with the smooth operation of the organization.

Reports To:

Accounting Manager Duties/Responsibilities:

Greets and directs patrons and vendors. Compiles daily scale and consumption reports. Prepares and distributes cattle and commodities reports. Weight commodities and incoming/outgoing cattle. Answers phone calls and emails. Receives and distributes packages. Copies, faxes, filing, collates, and otherwise prepares reports. Performs other related duties as assigned. Scans documents into database

Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to greet visitors, clients, and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner. Ability to type, Proficiency with 10 key a plus. Ability to proofread. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Basic understanding of office equipment. Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing. Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems. Ability to organize and prioritize work.

Education and Experience:

High school graduate Minimum 1 year of clerical work experience

Physical Requirements:
