Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM About the Role We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Front Desk / Administrative Assistant to join a well-established nonprofit organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, supporting office operations, and assisting with membership, donation, and event-related activities. Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Office Administration Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to general inquiries Coordinate meeting schedules, prepare agendas, and assist with meeting notes Maintain office supplies and coordinate vendors for facility needs Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including donations and correspondence Schedule conference rooms and assist with basic office coordination Serve as the main point of contact for office maintenance and vendor requests Membership & Donation Support Process membership applications and donations Maintain and update records within CRM systems (Raiser's Edge or similar) Track donations, perform data entry, and support reporting functions Assist with member communications and basic email tracking Provide backup support to the Membership Coordinator as needed Program & Event Support Assist with event preparation, tracking materials, and vendor coordination Maintain records for auction items, scholarship programs, and related initiatives Support occasional events (2-3 times per year, evenings or weekends as needed) Team Support Collaborate with multiple departments across the organization Maintain strict confidentiality and data accuracy Support additional administrative tasks and special projects Qualifications 3-5 years of administrative, front desk, or office support experience Experience in nonprofit, membership, or customer-facing roles preferred Familiarity with CRM systems (Raiser's Edge or similar) preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), Adobe, and Zoom Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdf The pay transparency policy is available here: https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdf For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
