Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Part-time Full Charge Bookkeeper and Personal Assistant to join our Family office. This position is in office and does not allow for remote work. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and maintain accurate financial records, support our accounting processes, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for numbers, strong organizational skills, flexibility to tackle new tasks as they arise and experience working with various financial software systems. As a vital part of our finance team, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our financial activities while enjoying a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle. This position has the ability to move to Full-time as the candidate can assume Personal Assisting responsibilities. Duties Record and maintain accurate journal entries, including debits and credits, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts regularly to ensure data accuracy Process payroll efficiently using payroll software and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and vendor payments Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and other financial systems to record transactions and generate reports Prepare financial reports and statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to support management decision-making Conduct account analysis, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliation to maintain financial integrity Assist with budgeting activities and provide support for financial audits or reviews as needed Experience Proven bookkeeping experience with a strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping and accounting concepts Hands-on experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, or similar platforms Knowledge of nonprofit accounting practices is a plus but not required Familiarity with public accounting standards and corporate accounting procedures Strong skills in spreadsheets (Excel) for data analysis, report writing, and financial modeling Experience processing payroll and managing accounts payable/receivable workflows Ability to perform account reconciliation tasks accurately and efficiently Excellent attention to detail combined with good organizational skills to handle multiple priorities in a part-time capacity Join us in this dynamic role where your expertise will help keep our financial operations and family office running smoothly! Pay:
