Job Description

Summary The Program Administrator/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the day program, ensuring high-quality care, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance. This role works directly with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities while leading staff and maintaining a safe, structured, and person-centered environment. Key Responsibilities Program Oversight & Operations Supervise daily program operations and ensure participant needs are consistently met Support the Activity Coordinator and Direct Care Staff (DCS) in program implementation Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for participants and staff Assist in identifying program supply and equipment needs Conduct tours for prospective participants and families Participant Care & Support Work directly with participants, including supervision, ADLs, and activity participation Implement and monitor behavior support plans Respond appropriately to challenging behaviors Ensure dignity, safety, and personal rights of all individuals Staff Supervision & Training Supervise, coach, and support Direct Care Staff Assist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff training Address performance concerns and assist with disciplinary actions as needed Assign and monitor completion of staff duties and daily chores Documentation & Compliance Ensure compliance with Title 17, Title 22, and all applicable regulations Oversee completion of documentation (goal tracking, communication logs, incident reports, emergency drills) Assist in development of ISP goals and progress reports Monitor behavior data and ISP tracking for accuracy and completion Conduct monthly safety inspections and trainings Incident Management & Collaboration Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and follow-up communication Work collaboratively with Director, Activity Coordinator, and Program Consultants Assume full program responsibility in the absence of the Director of Community Services Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, and stoop frequently Ability to support individuals with significant physical and developmental disabilities Qualifications Must be 21 years or older College diploma or equivalent required Minimum 3 years experience in human services (including 1 year in a similar program), or bachelor's degree in a related field Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Valid Driver's License or ID and authorization to work in the U.S. Ability to pass fingerprint clearance, physical exam, TB test, and maintain CPR/First Aid certification Knowledge/experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Previous supervisory experience preferred Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism
Pay:
$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
