Job Summary Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part Time Administrative Assistant for a temporary front desk support opportunity in Davis, CA. This role is ideal for an administrative professional who enjoys being the first point of contact, keeping daily office operations organized, and supporting a variety of clerical and coordination tasks. The Part Time Administrative Assistant will provide coverage while the Office Coordinator is on leave, helping maintain a welcoming, professional, and well-organized office environment. This is a great opportunity to work with a collaborative team, contribute to smooth day-to-day operations, and support meetings, events, mailings, shipping, and general office projects. - Greet staff, vendors, and visitors at the front desk while maintaining a professional reception area.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, take messages, and route inquiries appropriately.
- Coordinate office lunches, meetings, and related logistics to support team activities.
- Assist with spring retreat event planning, scheduling support, and administrative preparation.
- Scan, file, organize documents, prepare mail merges, print materials, and support mailings.
- Manage FedEx label and shipping requests, Enterprise car rental reservations, and other daily administrative tasks or special projects. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $18 to $23 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
Schedule:
Part-time, 25 hours per week.- Work hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Schedule may be flexible to 2:30 PM or 3:00 PM with an unpaid lunch.
