Job Description

Description The Administrative Assistant works with the campus Director and Business Office to implement the policies, procedures, and philosophies of Springfield Montessori in accordance with the specifications of Title 22. Job duties are varied and range from answering incoming calls, speaking with prospective families to partnering with the Business Office on tasks related to marketing, advertising, financial and administrative. The Administrative Assistant is a part of the school management team and will work closely with the campus Director, COO, Business Office and Head of Schools. Strict confidentiality must be always maintained. Qualifications
  • Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work in team environment.
  • Detail Oriented & Strong organizational skills.
  • Prior experience in an office/administrative setting.
  • Early Childhood Education units strongly recommended but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal.)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher.)
  • Strong computer skills and comfort with the internet and social media platforms.
Requirements The ideal candidate must be action oriented and a strong performer. The position requires the ability to multitask and function at a high level on various projects. Every day brings a different set of challenges and projects to work on. A key part of this position will focus on increasing enrollment and maintaining existing families. Understanding and tracking why families stay / leave as well as creatively thinking of ideas on how to improve existing processes and procedures is critical. Teamwork and daily collaboration with the Director, Teachers, Head of Schools and the Business Office are the norm and are required in order to create synergy across all functions and enable the school to run more efficiently and successfully.

$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
