Dental Office Floater (Front Office & Dental Assistant) Inspire Smiles Dental Dublin, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Dental receptionist HIPAA Medical scheduling X-Ray Certification Multi-line phone systems Full Job Description The Dental Office Floater is a cross-functional team member who supports both administrative (front desk) operations and clinical chairside dental assisting. Join a team of quality orientated dental professionals that you will be proud to be affiliated with.our modern dental practice in Dublin, CA. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Prepare operatories for procedures in accordance with infection control protocols Assist dentist during examinations and procedures (restorative, surgical, hygiene, etc.) Take digital radiographs Perform chairside assisting (four-handed dentistry) Sterilize instruments and maintain sterilization logs Maintain inventory and restock clinical supplies Provide patient education on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions Ensure OSHA and CDC compliance in all clinical areas Greet and check in/check out patients in a professional and welcoming manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; assist with pre-authorizations Present treatment plans and review financial arrangements with patients Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance Answer and manage multi-line phone systems Coordinate patient flow to minimize wait times Support recall systems and reactivation efforts What we offer: Competitive compensation Opportunities for growth A fun and positive atmosphere to work
