We're looking for an experienced Office Assistant who can step in and run with it. Our office moves fast and we need someone who already knows their way around job paperwork, billing, and a busy phone. This starts at 20 hours a week with a clear path to full time. What you'll do Answer calls and greet visitors professionally Schedule meetings and assist with project coordination Handle mail, filing, and office supply orders Prepare and edit documents and correspondence Support time tracking, job documentation, and job costing Work directly with project managers on active jobs Assist with PG&E service applications, upgrades, and utility coordination Prepare and submit county permitting paperwork and track inspection and approval status Provide general admin support to our office and field crews What you need Prior experience in construction, electrical contracting, or a related trade Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online — invoicing and job costing Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to juggle several tasks and handle confidential information appropriately High school diploma or GED Reliable transportation and punctuality Preferred Experience with construction billing, lien releases, or preliminary notices Familiarity with permitting or utility coordination Records management and office safety procedures
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 25.0 per week
