Dental Assistant / Front OfficeJob Summary We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Dental Assistant / Front Office team member to join our dental practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient interaction and clinical dental assisting and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and committed to providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities will include a combination of front office duties, patient scheduling, and chairside dental assisting. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and help create a welcoming and professional environment. Answer phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and appointment coordination. Manage patient check-in and check-out using dental practice management software. Verify insurance information and maintain accurate patient records. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures. Assist the dentist chairside during general dentistry procedures. Take dental X-rays using proper techniques and safety protocols. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control standards. Maintain clean and organized treatment rooms and clinical areas. Follow HIPAA requirements and maintain patient confidentiality. Monitor dental equipment and notify the appropriate team member of any maintenance or safety concerns. Assist with other front office and clinical duties as needed to support the practice. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental office is strongly preferred. Experience with chairside dental assisting and instrument sterilization is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology and general dental procedures. Experience taking dental X-rays and following radiation safety guidelines. Understanding of infection prevention and sterilization protocols. Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and transition between front office and clinical responsibilities. Comfortable learning and using dental practice management software. Experience with digital imaging or 3D scanning is a plus. Dependable, professional, and able to work well as part of a team. Pay:
