Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Hayward, CA, supporting a busy consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service, staying organized, and keeping office and shipping operations running smoothly. The Administrative Assistant will support daily administrative tasks, customer communication, data entry, shipping documentation, and coordination with internal teams. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, team-oriented workplace with daytime business hours, supportive leadership, and room for long-term career growth. The right candidate will be dependable, accurate, bilingual in Spanish, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced office setting. Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Provide responsive customer service to clients, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Perform accurate data entry, document organization, record maintenance, and general clerical support.
  • Prepare, process, review, and track shipping and distribution documentation.
  • Manage complex shipping and distribution lists using Microsoft Excel.
  • Communicate clearly through phone, email, and web-based platforms to support daily office operations. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay rate: $23 to $24 per hour.
