Schedule:
Tuesday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (32 hours/week)

Schedule may adjust based on departmental needs Job Summary Under direct supervision, the Clerical Aide provides administrative, clerical, and customer service support to Housing Specialists within the Intake/Eligibility Unit. This role ensures accurate processing and maintenance of program documentation, supports eligibility workflows, and assists with communication and file management for housing participants. Key Responsibilities Perform data entry and maintain accurate program records and participant files Assist with eligibility documentation and confidential file management Support voucher processing and related administrative workflows Review incoming documentation and request missing or incomplete items Prepare reports and participant correspondence as needed Assist Housing Specialists with lease requests and administrative housing activities Support general office operations within a HUD-funded program environment Perform additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications Ability to operate computer and standard office equipment (printer, copier, calculator) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) or similar applications Strong Excel and Word skills required High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Experience performing data entry tasks Strong customer service skills Ability to interact professionally, courteously, and tactfully with participants and staff Strong verbal and written communication skills INDH
