The ideal candidate will assist with claims administration, documentation management, data entry, claim status tracking, and communication with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate claims processing. This is a 3-month contract position , requiring availability 2 days per week . Key Responsibilities Assist in the intake, review, and processing of claims documentation. Maintain accurate records of claims and supporting documents. Verify claim information for completeness and accuracy. Enter and update claim data within internal systems and databases. Track claim status and follow up on pending items. Coordinate with claim adjusters, providers, customers, and internal departments. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and claim-related correspondence. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Support audits and quality assurance reviews as needed. Respond to inquiries regarding claim status and documentation requirements. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. 1+ years of experience in claims administration, insurance operations, healthcare claims, or a related administrative role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Pay:
$26.40 - $31.80 per hour
