Qualifications Required Documents/Attachments:

- Three (3) letters of recommendation, current within the last 12 months. One of the two letters must be from your direct supervisor. Letters from relatives are not acceptable.
- Typing certificate, minimum typing speed of 60 net/corrected wpm.

Education:
High School graduation or equivalent or higher is desirable.
Experience:
Three years of increasingly responsible experience in secretarial and clerical work with at least one year experience in a school district highly desirable. Must pass the District Administrative Secretary IIB test, plus a hands-on evaluation. The Division of Human Resources requires a typing certificate from an accredited school or agency, dated no earlier than twenty-four (24) months before the opening date listed on the job posting on EdJoin. The typing certificate must be attached to the EdJoin application. Human Resources will not accept online certificates or e-mailed test results from typing websites. Typing test requirements and a partial list of local agencies that provide typing certificates can be accessed using the link: "Typing Test Requirements & Locations (Updated 05.2020)". The typing certificate must contain the following information:
- Agency's official emblem
- Name of applicant
- Score identified as net or corrected words per minute typed during a five (5) minute timed test
- Date of certificate
