Now hiring a Job Captain in Palm Desert, CA for a small, casual, and growing multidisciplinary design firm specializing in residential, commercial, fast-casual dining, interior design, landscape architecture, and planning. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team with hands-on principal involvement, strong communication, and a commitment to creating thoughtful, functional spaces throughout Southern California and beyond. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Job Captain position include: 3-5 years of experience working in an architectural firm Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a non-entry-level production role 2D drafting experience; Vectorworks experience is a plus, with training provided Experience with residential, commercial, or fast-casual dining projects preferred Produce high-quality architectural production drawings and technical details Coordinate with consultants while supporting principals and project managers Assist with permit/code support and construction administration support Participate in periodic travel for project meetings and site visits
Salary :
$70,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
