2101-College of Podiatric Medicine Classification Pay Scale In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.
Expected Pay Scale Minimum:
$22.60 Hourly Maximum $23.06 Hourly Job Summary Provides a variety of administrative and support services for the College of Podiatric Medicine's enrollment strategies and pipeline development. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Individuals must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Knowledge:
Experience in creating schedules of activities, preferably in an academic setting.
Skills:
Good computer skills necessary to set up document formats in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and any other software program required by this position. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively and professionally interact with administration, faculty, staff, students and external affiliates. Must be able to prioritize and schedule opportunity for resolution of problems.
Abilities:
Language ability to produce clear and concise reports; reasoning ability to problem solve quickly. Demonstrate a commitment to working in an organization that values and promotes humanism.
Required Qualifications Education:
Associate of Arts degree and/or combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education.
Experience:
A minimum of 1-3 years administrative/clerical or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications Education:
Bachelors degree.
Experience :
3-5 years experience as an Administrative Assistant/Associate or Executive Assistant. Preference given to those who possess experience in an academic environment. 3+ years in sales and/or marketing, ideally with knowledge in social media marketing, or experience in customer service. Although not required, bilingual abilities will be viewed favorably.
