Position:
Full Time Medical Assistant (30-40 hours/week)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and caring Medical Assistant who thrives in a pediatric setting and enjoys working in a collaborative, family-focused environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both front and back office operations , detail-oriented, and committed to providing an exceptional experience for every patient and family.
Responsibilities include:
Greet and check in patients with accuracy and warmth Record vital signs, growth measurements, and patient history Assist pediatrician and nurse practitioners with procedures as needed Perform treatments and administer medications and vaccinations as directed Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and readiness throughout the day Support front office operations including scheduling, verifying insurance, and collecting copays as needed Communicate effectively and compassionately with families Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Collaborate with our team to ensure smooth daily clinic flow
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant certification required Pediatric experience required Phlebotomy certification preferred (priority given to candidates with this skill) Must have and maintain all immunizations , including yearly influenza and
COVID-19
vaccines Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Friendly, reliable, dependable, and professional demeanor Proficiency in both clinical and administrative tasks Why Join Garden Pediatrics?
