TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination of training and experience which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be: Three (3) years of previous experience in administrative and office support work.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Some positions may require the following: Ability to obtain a First Aid Certificate.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
(Must be attached to application):
  • Cover Letter
  • Resume
  • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation
  • Typing Certificate:
  • Dated within the last five (5) years
  • 40 NET Words Per Minute
  • Online typing tests are NOT accepted
  • Timed test not less than three (3) minutes See link in side bar for list of typing test locations or call 916-630-3310 for testing locations.
Current District Employees working in a classification requiring a typing certificate of 40 WPM or more do not have to submit a certificate. All attachments must be scanned and submitted through Edjoin. If you have problems with Edjoin, please contact the Edjoin Help Desk at (888) 900-8945.
A WRITTEN CLERICAL SKILLS TEST
will be administered to selected applicants. Applicants who have previously passed this test are not required to take it again.
