Office Assistant Part-Time (Construction Administration / Project Accounting) Citidev Inc San Francisco, CA Job Details Part-time $35
- $50 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits 401(k) matching Paid sick time Qualifications Microsoft Word Microsoft Outlook Data entry Excel formulas Full Job Description Overview Citidev is a residential general contractor based in San Francisco.
- Process and code vendor invoices to job cost codes with a high level of accuracy
- Maintain job cost records and project files across multiple active construction projects
- Perform accounts payable support including invoice review, matching, and data entry
- Assist with timesheet job coding and tracking labor to projects
- Maintain organized electronic and physical project records (contracts, invoices, change orders, COIs, etc.)
- Coordinate subcontractor and vendor documentation (W-9s, insurance, invoices)
- Perform accurate, high-volume data entry with strong attention to detail
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and company information Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in construction office administration, project accounting, or similar role
- Experience with accounts payable processing and job cost coding
- Experience working in a project-based or construction environment
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data tracking, sorting, basic formulas)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Ability to manage multiple projects and job-related tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated experience handling financial or job cost data with a high level of accuracy Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Sage 100 Contractor or similar construction accounting software
- Experience working for a general contractor or subcontractor
- Familiarity with construction project documentation (subcontracts, COIs, change orders, lien waivers) Education & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in construction administration, project accounting, or related field required
- Experience with accounts payable, job costing, or financial data entry required
- Associate's degree or coursework in accounting, business, or related field preferred Work Schedule
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Weekday daytime hours (schedule to be determined)
- In-office position based in San Francisco Compensation
- $35.00
- $50.00 per hour, depending on experience Benefits
- 401(k) plan with employer match, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements
- Paid sick leave in accordance with the San Francisco Paid Sick Leave Ordinance Employment Classification This is a non-exempt, hourly position eligible for overtime in accordance with California law.
