Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Credentialing Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to the Medical Staff Services team. This position will assist with physician credentialing, onboarding, document preparation, communication, filing, and general office coordination. Key Responsibilities Support physician credentialing and verification using CredentialStream . Assist with pre-applications, physician onboarding folders, files, badges, filing, fax requests, and email correspondence. Answer phones, take messages, and respond to the Physician Referral Line . Monitor the Medical Staff Dashboard , including non-staff physician requests. Provide general administrative support while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records. Complete other duties and special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, Clerical Assistant, Office Assistant, or similar administrative role . Strong computer and data-entry skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to answer phones, take messages, respond to emails, and interact professionally with physicians, staff, and other stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a busy office environment. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare administrative experience preferred. Previous Medical Staff Services experience strongly preferred. Experience with physician credentialing or provider onboarding. Experience using CredentialStream or another credentialing/privileging system. Familiarity with medical staff credentialing, physician files, badges, referrals, or hospital administrative processes. Experience working in a hospital, medical office, healthcare organization, or similar environment.
Pay:
