ABOUT MARIN HOUSING AUTHORITY
Marin Housing Authority's purpose is to assist low and moderate income people to secure and maintain quality, affordable housing. The Marin Housing Authority ("MHA") is a small, dynamic agency, well-respected in our field. MHA serves thousands of people through a wide range of programs and services, including public housing for families, seniors and the disabled; housing choice vouchers (Section 8); supportive housing services for special needs populations; and financial and technical assistance for moderate-income first-time homebuyers and low-income homeowners.THE POSITION
Marin Housing seeks an individual with a high degree of initiative who is self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented to be at our front desk on days we are open to the public to assist our clients. The ideal candidate will also possess computer (Word, Excel and Outlook) and office skills, and exhibit a good customer service ethic, as there will be a high volume of interaction with the public in person and by telephone. This individual will also be assigned a variety of technical, specialized and/or complicated clerical tasks.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform prompt and courteous customer service to program participants, landlords and otherclients and visitors. Review, scan and maintain file data in an automated file tracking system (Yardi and Sharepoint). Provide information to walk-ins and callers. Maintain logs to track visitors and transactions.REQUIREMENTS
Possess at least a basic level of proficiency in Excel. Organize and prioritize work effectively. Input, control and maintain an automated file tracking system. Follow oral and written instructions without close supervision. Speak and write clearly and concisely. Perform general office work and computer data entry quickly and accurately. Work under pressure and with tight deadlines. Knowledge of General office practices and procedures. Filing procedures and systems. Operation of office equipment and software programs including computers, scanners,calculators, and copiersEDUCATION AND EPERIENCE
High school education or equivalent and two years of clerical experience, or any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the tasks of this position.Pay:
$51,130.44 - $68,519.14 per yearBenefits:
