Personal Assistant/Household Manager Role Overview We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and versatile Personal Assistant to support our family and property management business. This role is a unique hybrid position that balances high-level personal assistance for the owner, operational support for a property management company, and dedicated childcare for a seven-year-old in 2nd grade. The ideal candidate is a "runner" who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the ability to transition seamlessly between professional property tasks and family-focused responsibilities. Compensation & ScheduleSchedule:
Flexible Monday through Friday position.Compensation:
Competitive pay commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities 1. Childcare & Family Support- Provide reliable, safe, and engaging care for a 7-year-old child.
- Manage school/after-daycare pickups and ensure timely arrival at extracurricular activities.
- Assist with homework supervision, snack preparation, and organizing afternoon schedules.
- Create a nurturing and structured environment during after-school hours. 2. Property Management Assistance
- Act as an on-the-ground coordinator for various property management tasks.
- Conduct property visits, oversee minor maintenance coordination, and assist with tenant/owner related errands.
- Maintain organizational systems for property documentation, supplies, and vendor communications.
- Ensure properties are prepared for showings or inspections as needed. 3. Personal Assistance & Operations
- Serve as a dedicated "runner" for the owner, handling personal errands, grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and administrative tasks. As needed may arise.
- Manage scheduling, appointment coordination, and travel logistics as required.
- Maintain clear communication with the owner regarding the status of ongoing tasks and family/business priorities.
- Handle ad-hoc projects, research, and administrative support to keep daily operations running smoothly. Qualifications Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, discreet demeanor.
- Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle for running errands and transporting the child. Company car available three days a week with vehicle allowance when using your personal vehicle.
- Experience with childcare and a genuine interest in supporting a growing child's schedule.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. Working Conditions
- This is a hands-on role requiring travel between the home office/property sites and school/activity locations.
- Flexibility is essential, as the balance between property tasks and childcare may shift based on daily requirements.
