Job Description

The Assistant Program Supervisor is an integral member of the team, ensuring the smooth and successful day-to-day operation of the respite program for staff, individuals receiving services and their families. This position balances administrative responsibilities, staff leadership, and direct support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families. Responsibilities include coordinating participant and staff schedules, planning activities and menus, communicating participant support needs to staff, assisting with staff training and supervision, and ensuring the delivery of quality, person-centered care. The Assistant Program Supervisor also provides direct support as needed and shares on-call responsibilities with the Director. This position requires flexibility, including occasional evenings, weekends, overnight coverage, and driving as part of program operations.

Requirements:
Must have a minimum of two years working with individuals with cognitive disabilities. Must have a minimum of two years providing hands-on, direct care to others. Strong organizational and administrative skills, including scheduling, billing, and computer proficiency. Experience training, mentoring, or supervising staff preferred. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing needs. Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overnights. Positive leadership with the ability to motivate and support staff. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • 1 full-time position available at $22.00
  • $24.20/hr. DOE/DOQ.
