These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members. During this time, participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for their transition to full-time civilian work.

You must be currently serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program. This program is not for veterans who have already separated from the military. Responsibilities:
Update and maintain contract management systems and databases. Assist in reviewing contract documents to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all contract activities. Support audits and compliance reviews by providing necessary documentation and information. Maintains close, professional interface with internal customer personnel (technical, administrative and business). Interfaces with external customers in coordination with the Contracts Manager. Works with internal customers (program managers, program directors, etc. ) ensuring all communication with external customers is concise and consistent from both technical and contractual personnel. In coordination with Contracts Manager, reviews, recommends and negotiates Non-Disclosure Agreements, ensuring SNC protection in terms and conditions. Tracking, reconciling, closing and reporting Unbilled and Accounts Receivable status; supports in resolution of Invoice issues. Tracks and submits Contracts and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documentation.

Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry. Familiarity with government contract requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) regulations. Ability to problem solve - applying originality, creativity and initiative.
