Full Time Position Overview Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for supporting employee development and business operations? Kiewit is seeking a Training and Development Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll support the administrative and logistical activities that help training programs, onboarding events, and employee development initiatives run smoothly. Working closely with training professionals, employees, project teams, vendors, and business leaders, you'll assist with travel coordination, meeting logistics, technology, catering, supplies, communications, and event support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. District Overview Kiewit Industrial is one of Kiewit's major operating divisions, delivering complex industrial projects across the United States. Our teams support work in energy, power generation, chemical and petrochemical facilities, manufacturing, water treatment, and other heavy industrial markets. The district focuses on safe execution, technical excellence, and disciplined project delivery across mechanical, electrical, civil, and commissioning scopes. The Lone Tree, Colorado office serves as a central hub for business operations, project support, employee development, and enterprise training programs. Kiewit Industrial brings together professionals from diverse disciplines to strengthen project execution, enhance organizational capabilities, and support the growth and development of employees across the district. Location This role is based out of our office in Lone Tree, Colorado. Responsibilities As a Training and Development Administrative Assistant, you'll support the team across a variety of training and administrative activities, including: Book and coordinate training rooms, meeting spaces, equipment, supplies, and other event needs Arrange flights, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and other travel logistics for training participants and facilitators Coordinate catering, meals, refreshments, team events, and other participant needs Collect, organize, distribute, and return laptops, phones, computers, and other IT equipment Coordinate with IT to ensure participants have the technology, equipment, and access needed for training Order, organize, and distribute training materials, promotional items, participant gifts, and event swag Prepare and send training invitations, schedules, travel information, reminders, and follow-up communications Maintain accurate participant lists, attendance records, travel details, room assignments, and training documentation Support new hire onboarding programs and other employee training events Track receipts, invoices, purchase orders, purchasing card transactions, and other related documentation Prepare spreadsheets, reports, schedules, and other materials using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint Maintain organized electronic files related to training programs and participants Assist with surveys, evaluations, completion tracking, and other post-training activities Provide professional and timely support to employees, managers, facilitators, vendors, and other stakeholders Assist with special projects and other administrative activities as needed Qualifications We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and comfortable coordinating multiple details at once.Ideal qualifications include:
0-5 years of administrative, event coordination, travel coordination, human resources, training support, or business support experience Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Hospitality, Education, or a related field preferred, but not required with relevant experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, organization, and follow-through Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint Experience coordinating travel, meetings, events, catering, hotel accommodations, or equipment is a plus Experience with Concur, purchasing card transactions, expense reports, or other administrative systems is a plus Comfortable communicating with employees, managers, vendors, hotels, airlines, and internal departments Ability to work professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Positive, team-oriented mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks and support the broader team where needed. #LI-KS23Other Requirements:
