NOTICE OF VACANCY
Long-Term Substitute Administrative Assistant Guilford High School Description and Minimum Qualifications:
Employee serves as administrative assistant in the Counseling Department, and will be expected to perform work that assists with the smooth operation of the department. The position includes, but is not limited to: screening and greeting visitors for Counseling office; coordination of 504 meetings and college rep. visits; prepare mailings for school events; update website for department; manage purchase requests; clerical support for school counselors and director of school counseling; and performing office work such as proofreading, preparing mailings and information for distribution, distributing mail, filing, and demonstrating a positive and welcoming attitude for working with families, students, building staff and visitors to the school. Experience using Microsoft Office software, required Experience using the Google platform including email, scheduling appointments, spreadsheets and Excel, required Experience in working with high school-age children, preferred Experience working in an administrative office position, preferred Responsible to:
Building Administrator Work Period:
As soon as possible through on or about December 31, 2026 7 paid hours per day (7.5-hour day will include 30-minute unpaid lunch)

Salary:
$24.96/hour Due to the temporary nature of this assignment, no benefits package is available.
