Job Description

E.O. Smith high school is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and thoughtful individual who can contribute to our school's diversity through their teaching, scholarship, and/or service to the institution. Assist Health Office staff with day-to-day operations, including triaging and prioritizing flow of students in need of care. Liaison between school administration, staff, students, and parents, while maintaining strict confidentiality. Health Services
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma and office administrative experience, preferably in a medical setting. Establish and maintain support to Health Office staff, perform skilled word processing and data entry. Ability to multi-task, and assume responsibility for tasks independently in a dynamic Health Office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with staff providing organization skills and sound judgement while working with competing deadlines. Ability to establish and maintain positive cooperative working relationships with diverse student, parent, staff and community population. Comply with HIPPA and FERPA regulations; adhere strictly to confidentiality at all levels. Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communications, organizational skills. Experience with office technology, ability to prepare letters, reports using Microsoft Office, Google Documents, Excel Documents and other computer programs. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, paperwork, and purchase orders.
SALARY:
2026-2027 $22.20— $25.19 depending on experience and education. This is a 10 month position.
