About the Role As a Recovery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their journey toward community integration and self-advocacy. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on helping others succeed and is committed to fostering independence and a high quality of life for the people we serve. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will:
  • Provide direct support to individuals, helping them achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, household tasks, and community engagement.
  • Encourage and guide individuals in developing self-advocacy and independence skills.
  • Collaborate with team members to create personalized care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to ensure individuals are on the right path toward their goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and follow all organizational policies and procedures. Required Skills and Qualifications We're looking for someone who:
  • Has at least 1 year of experience in a similar role or working with individuals with disabilities or economic disadvantages.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is patient, empathetic, and committed to providing quality care.
  • Can work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Is organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate records.
