Home Job Summary:
Polaris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a compassionate and respected healthcare provider in the greater Milford community, is seeking a full-time Unit Clerk to join our dedicated team. As a Unit Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents and their families. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive work environment, where you can grow professionally and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
Manage a busy nursing station by answering the telephone and responding to resident and/or visitor questions Coordinate follow-up doctor appointments that may need to occur outside of the facility for residents Maintain resident charts, telephone interaction, data entry, and filing Work directly on the nursing floor with resident and family interaction Manage the filing/scanning of information into the medical chart for each resident Assist the unit manager with all clerical duties Organize and maintain paperwork in the resident medical chart
Qualifications:
CNA preferred Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Unit Clerk experience preferred Experience in long-term care preferred High school diploma or equivalent How to
