Job Description
Coastal Kids Pediatric Dentistry is seeking an Administrative Specialist to assist with the financial operations of our growing pediatric dental practice! This position is responsible for managing the bookkeeping functions for two office locations and coordinating financial activities related to our dental services provided at a local hospital. Duties include maintaining accurate financial records for all practice locations, overseeing accounts payable and receivable in QuickBooks, assisting with employee benefits administration, preparing patient statements, assisting with prior authorizations and treatment planning for patients, and more. Previous dental office experience is required. A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience and knowledge of QuickBooks and dental insurance is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational abilities and be a detail-oriented, team player. The Administrative Specialist will work closely with the Doctors, administrative and billing teams, and accounting professionals to ensure efficient day-to-day financial operations.
