Job Description

This administrative assistant role supports the racing department.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for efficient operation of office procedures within designated departments. Provides administrative support to appropriate supervisor/manager; prepares reports as required. Coordinates and disseminates communication and correspondence to department heads. Assures accurate files and record keeping. Maintains record retention policies and procedures. Responsible for weekly timekeeping, schedule verification and processing for team members in corresponding department(s). Responsible for initiating the necessary documentation for status changes, information updates, etc. for team members in corresponding department(s). Always maintain professionalism when working with and responding to team members and/or guests. Able to communicate (both written and verbal) with all team members and levels of management. Attends and records minutes for all meetings as requested. Creating and ensuring a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount. Perform other related duties as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
One (1) to Three (3) years administrative experience. Must be proficient in the use of Workplace, Virtual Roster, Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word Applications. Must have strong organizational skills; accounting background preferred. Attention to detail and high level of energy required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with team members, management and guests is mandatory. Must be able to handle all types of team member/guest related situations; relay all team member compliments and complaints to department management. Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and bend for extended periods of time without difficulty. Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
