Job Description

Job Summary The Capital Support Specialist provides essential administrative and project coordination support to the capital Program. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate project information, supporting procurement activities, managing updates, and ensuring efficient communication across internal teams and with the public. The ideal candidate will be highly organized. responsive and comfortable working within a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Update Capital Project renovation details and related information on department website Assist with maintaining and updating project timelines, schedules, and tracking documents. Respond to 311 inquires related to Capital Projects and provide accurate, customer-focused information. Provide administrative support for contract management activities Coordinate with Procurement on bid postings, purchase order updates, and required documents Assist with obtaining quotes for small-scale projects Perform general administrative and project support duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Strong organizational skills, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple task, priorities, and deadliness effectively Experience delivering excellent customer service and handling public inquiries Proficiency with standard office software and basic project-tracking tools Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a government, procurement, or capital project setting Familiarity with bid processes , contracts, and purchase order workflows Experience updating websites or using content-management systems (CMS)
