This is an in-person position - no remote worker applications please. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented team member to support our residential construction projects in Coral Gables and surrounding areas. This is a varied role that combines construction administration, estimating support, purchasing, and general office assistance.
Responsibilities:
Pricing and ordering construction materials Performing basic take-offs and quantity calculations from plans Obtaining pricing from subcontractors and suppliers Tracking subcontractor insurance, licenses, and compliance paperwork Communicating with Spanish-speaking workers and subcontractors Matching receipts to credit card transactions and assisting with bookkeeping records General administrative and clerical support Assisting the owner with day-to-day business and occasional personal tasks Maintaining organized project files and documentation
Requirements:
Construction industry experience preferred Ability to read plans and perform basic material take-offs Strong organizational and administrative skills Fluent English and conversational Spanish required Proficient with Microsoft Office and email Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of a construction business and takes pride in keeping projects and paperwork organized.
