Administrative Assistant

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The role involves supporting a busy medical practice with a variety of administrative tasks essential to its daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, welcoming patients and visitors professionally and courteously.
• Handle incoming phone calls, directing inquiries appropriately and providing accurate information.
• Manage patient scheduling, ensuring appointments are efficiently organized and updated.
• Perform data entry tasks with precision, maintaining accurate records in electronic health and practice management systems.
• Verify insurance information and assist with patient check-in and check-out processes.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as Allscripts, to manage patient data effectively.
• Support the practice with general administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations by signing a confidentiality agreement.
• Collaborate with team members to provide coverage as needed and adapt to varying workloads.
• Uphold a strong commitment to patient care and customer service in all interactions.
