Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Heavy lifting required
• Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations
• Load and unload cargo by hand
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads
• Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance & repair related tasks
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver
• Experience with flatbed, dump truck, or heavy equipment operation is preferred
• Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities
• Ability to handle freight and secure loads properly

Skills:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to operate forklifts or other necessary equipment for loading/unloading cargo
• Physical stamina to handle long hours of driving and heavy lifting
