Job Description

An established IT service provider of the Emerald Coast is presently seeking a service coordinator to support our mission of providing IT support and network security to our clients. Ideal candidates will have some experience with the IT industry and understand the importance of IT services to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving world. To be a viable prospect, you must possess strong cognitive skills as well as above-average emotional intelligence for dealing with both frustrated clients (who typically call when something isn't working the way they think it should) and busy technical staff members. Empathy is crucial to making sure clients know their experience matters to us, while expectation setting and clear communication are pivotal to supporting technical operations. Typical activities of this role
  • Receive client requests for service, route calls and/or dispatch technicians as needed
  • Track shipment and notify team of delays on projects
  • Notify clients & team members of delays and unexpected status changes on orders
  • Manage projects by scheduling and assigning resources as needed
  • Coordinate with operations director to make changes to process when needed
  • Maintain records to track when equipment warranties and licenses expire that we can submit timely renewal proposals to clients
  • Be familiar with vendor partner and incentive programs & train team about how we can best take advantage of such programs.
  • Update status of tickets and projects in ERP system as orders are placed and received
  • Schedule and vendor training for team about new product offers when appropriate
  • Provide pricing information and submit quotes as requested
  • Receive product, label and bar code items correctly before sorting in parts room
  • Track inventory from receipt to sale & delivery
