Job Description

School Administrative Coordinator Praise Temple Christian Academy Groveland, Florida Praise Temple Christian Academy is a fully accredited private Christian school serving students from preschool through high school. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a School Administrative Coordinator . This position serves as the front office contact for our school while providing administrative support for student records, office operations, and school programs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a heart for Christian education.
Responsibilities Include:
Answering and directing school phone calls Greeting parents, students, and visitors Maintaining student attendance records Entering and processing grades and report cards Managing student records and cumulative files Processing scholarship information and maintaining scholarship portals Assisting with student enrollment and registration Processing tuition and other school payments Data entry and database management Creating spreadsheets, reports, and administrative documents Maintaining confidential student and financial records Assisting with state reporting and school documentation Supporting school administration with various office duties and projects Communicating with parents regarding school information and records Performing general office tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; college coursework preferred Previous office, administrative, or school experience preferred Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Proficiency with spreadsheets, data entry, and record management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
Must support the mission and values of Christian education Must successfully pass a Level 2 Background Screening Must be eligible to work in the State of Florida Must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a school office setting Experience with Florida scholarship programs Familiarity with the Step Up For Students (EMA) portals Experience with student information systems, online databases, or educational software Knowledge of tuition processing, enrollment procedures, or scholarship management
Position Information:
