Permitting Assistant Imperial Marine Construction, Inc. - Marco Island, FL Full‑time | In‑office | Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM About Us Imperial Marine Construction is a locally trusted marine contractor specializing in seawalls, docks, boat lifts, and coastal permitting. Our office is fast‑paced, detail‑oriented, and highly customer‑focused. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and proactive Office & Permitting Assistant to support daily operations and ensure smooth communication with clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies. Position Summary The Office & Permitting Assistant provides administrative support for permitting, scheduling, client communication, and general office operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistent punctuality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks without constant supervision. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparation, submission, and tracking of permit applications Communicate with clients, engineers, surveyors, and regulatory agencies Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide updates on project status Maintain organized digital and physical files for permits, contracts, and project documents Support scheduling of inspections, surveys, and field operations Prepare letters, forms, and basic office correspondence Update spreadsheets, logs, and internal tracking systems Greet visitors and assist walk‑in clients professionally Perform general office duties (scanning, printing, filing, data entry) Follow established procedures and complete tasks without repeated reminders Required Qualifications Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent schedule Proficient with computers, email, and basic office software Ability to learn permitting processes and follow detailed instructions Professional attitude and ability to work well with clients and team members Preferred Qualifications Experience in permitting, construction, marine work, or a related field Familiarity with local or state regulatory agencies (City, County, DEP, etc.) Experience with office management software or project tracking tools What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who is: Dependable and consistently on time Able to stay focused and minimize personal phone use during work hours Comfortable taking initiative and completing tasks without being prompted Professional, positive, and respectful in all interactions Detail‑oriented and able to follow processes accurately Schedule & Compensation Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (in‑office) Full‑time position
Pay :
