Job Description:
The Technology Administrative Assistant is directly accountable to the Chief Information Officer for the following duties and responsibilities: The individual filling this position is expected to play a positive role in helping the College change as necessary to carry out its mission effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Technology Administrative Assistant performs routine Information Technology processes, basic troubleshooting, and clerical functions in support of the Chief Information Officer while also helping coordinate Information Technology responses to the user community. Assist the Chief Information Officer by coordinating and managing routine departmental processes. Serve as contact for callers and visitors. Maintain appointment calendar for the Chief Information Officer; set up meetings, coordinating times and locations. Consult with the user community to verify that Information Technology is meeting their expectations. Support the Chief Information Officer in coordinating Information Technology resources in response to large-scale projects. Provide basic end-user technical assistance Provide technical assistance to all users of computer services when hardware/software problems are encountered. Handle incoming and outgoing mail; date-stamp incoming mail and distribute as needed. Input requisitions for ordering items, blanket purchase orders, etc. Maintain and order office supplies. Make travel arrangements, prepare necessary paperwork, and process all related transactions. Maintain routine and confidential office files. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Information Officer.

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or higher preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required. Excellent customer service skills. Work experience in the higher education setting preferred. Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication Knowledge of computers and software. Ability to identify and define user hardware/software needs. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and assign resources as appropriate.
