full-time Conquistador Adult Soccer Association is seeking a dependable, organized, and community-minded individual to serve as Secretary for our nonprofit adult soccer league in North Port, Florida.
Position responsibilities include:
- Attending board and league meetings
- Recording and distributing meeting minutes
- Maintaining league documents and official records
- Assisting with emails, announcements, and team communications
- Helping organize schedules, registrations, and league information
- Supporting the Board of Directors with general administrative duties
- Maintaining confidentiality when handling league matters The ideal candidate will:
- Be organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Communicate professionally with players, captains, referees, and board members
- Be comfortable using email, Point, and basic online systems
- Have an interest in soccer and serving the local community
- Be able to work independently and follow through on responsibilities This is a volunteer nonprofit board position and a great opportunity to become involved in the local soccer community, develop leadership experience, and help our league continue to grow.
