Monday-Friday | No Weekends About Us We are a busy, patient-centered primary care practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare. We are seeking an experienced Medical Front Office Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Greet and check in/out patients with a welcoming and professional attitude. Answer and manage a multi-line phone system. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. Verify insurance eligibility and patient demographics. Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances. Scan, upload, and maintain accurate patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR). Coordinate patient flow with providers and clinical staff. Respond to patient questions and resolve front office concerns professionally. Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 1 year of medical front office or medical receptionist experience. High school diploma or GED. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong computer skills and experience with EMR/EHR systems. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office. Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Preferred:
Primary care experience. Insurance verification and referral processing experience. Athena EMR Knowledge of medical terminology. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
