Front Desk/ Patient Scheduling Coordinator- Busy Orthodontic Practice Join Our Team! Our busy orthodontic practice is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist / Patient Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is professional, customer-service oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This position is often the first and last impression our patients have of our practice, so a warm personality and exceptional communication skills are essential. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and families with a friendly, welcoming attitude. Check patients in and out for appointments accurately and efficiently. Schedule new patient consultations and orthodontic appointments while maximizing provider schedules. Confirm appointments and assist with appointment reminders. Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally. Respond to patient questions and direct calls to the appropriate team members. Collect patient payments, process credit card transactions, and balance daily receipts. Review patient accounts and discuss balances when appropriate. Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day. Assist with general administrative duties, including scanning, and managing office correspondence. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Provide outstanding customer service and create a positive patient experience from check-in to check-out. Qualifications Previous front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred. Dental or orthodontic experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus . Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable handling multiple phone lines and a high volume of patient interactions. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn practice management software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
