Entry-Level Looking for More Than Just a Job? Are you organized, great with people, comfortable with technology, and looking for an opportunity where you can learn, grow, and build a career? Asset Protection Group is looking for a motivated, friendly, and dependable Administrative Assistant to join our team. You don't need experience in financial services. We will train you. What matters most to us is finding someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a genuine desire to become an important part of our team. As our company continues to grow, we're intentionally building the next generation of Asset Protection Group. We're a small, close-knit company, so every person we bring onto our team matters. We want our experienced team members to be able to share what they've learned while also giving newer team members the opportunity to bring their own strengths, ideas, and perspective to the company. This isn't a position where we want someone to simply sit at the front desk and answer phones all day. You'll have the opportunity to learn different areas of our business, work directly with our team, interact with clients, and discover where your strengths may take you.
What You'll Be Doing:
Creating a Great Client Experience You'll often be the first person our clients see or speak with, so you'll play an important role in making them feel welcomed and taken care of. Welcome clients and visitors with a friendly, professional attitude. Answer and direct incoming calls. Respond to general emails. Schedule and confirm appointments. Prepare conference rooms for meetings. Help clients feel comfortable and welcomed while visiting our office. Receive and distribute mail and deliveries. Help maintain an organized, professional office environment. Learning Our Business We'll train you in different areas of our company so you can develop new skills and gain valuable professional experience. You'll have the opportunity to: Assist our underwriting and financial services team. Prepare, scan, upload, and organize client documentation. Work with our client relationship management (CRM) system. Track outstanding paperwork and assist with client follow-up. Prepare client packets and documents for appointments. Help coordinate signatures and documentation. Support educational workshops and client events. Cross-train in different areas of the company. Learn new software, systems, and technology. Work alongside experienced team members and learn from their knowledge. Bring your own ideas and perspective as you become familiar with our business. Take on additional responsibilities as your skills and confidence grow. You Don't Need Financial Experience If you are dependable, organized, comfortable communicating with people, willing to ask questions, and excited to learn something new, we can teach you the rest. Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, banking, reception, administration, or another people-focused position can be helpful, but it isn't required. We're much more interested in finding someone with potential, curiosity, and the desire to grow. Who Would Be Great in This Role?
Someone who:
Loves helping people. Has a friendly and outgoing personality. Is dependable and shows up ready to work. Enjoys being part of a team. Is organized and pays attention to the little things. Is comfortable with computers and technology. Learns quickly and isn't afraid to ask questions. Takes initiative instead of always waiting to be asked. Can handle multiple things going on at once. Wants to learn new skills. Enjoys having variety in their workday. Wants feedback and opportunities to improve. Is interested in taking on more responsibility over time. Wants to build a career and grow with a company. Is excited about the opportunity to potentially become part of the next generation of APG.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required. College coursework, an associate's degree, or administrative training is a plus, but not required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational and time-management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Professional and positive attitude. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability and willingness to learn new technology and software. Ability to handle confidential client information professionally. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, but not required. Training & Career Growth You'll receive hands-on training and support from our team while learning how our company operates. You'll have the opportunity to learn from team members who understand our clients, our processes, and our business while developing your own strengths along the way. As you become comfortable in the position, our goal is to help you continue developing your skills and expanding your responsibilities. That may include learning more about underwriting, financial services operations, client service, estate planning administration, workflow management, and other areas of the company. We want to hire someone who can grow with us-not just into this position, but beyond it. If you're motivated and willing to learn, we want this position to be a place where you can gain experience, discover your strengths, develop professionally, and have opportunities to take the next steps in your career. Compensation, Benefits & Growth We believe that taking care of our team is just as important as taking care of our clients. Asset Protection Group offers a competitive starting salary along with benefits designed to support our team members both personally and professionally.
Our benefits include:
Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) with company matching Paid sick time Paid vacation time Flexible Friday schedule - every other Friday off, with alternating Fridays ending at 1:00 PM Paid holidays Retirement benefits Professional training and development Opportunities to cross-train and learn different areas of the business Opportunities for increased responsibility and career growth Some benefits become available after completion of the introductory/probationary period and are subject to company eligibility requirements. As your skills, knowledge, and responsibilities grow, we want your opportunities within the company to grow as well. We believe in investing in people who invest in themselves and our team. Our Culture We're a small, close-knit team, which means every person matters and every role makes a difference.
We aren't a company where you come in, do your job, and feel like just another employee. We work closely together, help each other when things get busy, celebrate accomplishments and milestones, and genuinely care about the people we work with. We take our responsibility to our clients seriously, but we also want APG to be a place where people enjoy coming to work. You'll be encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, learn new things, and continue developing your strengths. You won't be expected to figure everything out on your own. Our team will be there to teach you, support you, and help you become confident in your role.
We believe in:
Working as a team and stepping in to help one another. Treating people with kindness and respect. Doing the right thing for our clients and each other. Communicating openly and being comfortable asking questions. Learning from mistakes and using them as opportunities to improve. Recognizing hard work and celebrating accomplishments. Giving people opportunities to discover what they're good at. Helping team members develop professionally and personally. Welcoming new ideas and different perspectives. Having fun together while still taking pride in the work we do. Because we're a smaller company, you'll also have the opportunity to work directly with our leadership team and learn how different parts of the business work. We want you to feel like you're part of the team-not just filling a position. We're proud of the team and culture we've built, and we're looking for someone who wants to help us continue building on it. Why Asset Protection Group? Asset Protection Group helps individuals and families protect what they've worked hard to build through retirement and estate planning. Many of the clients we work with have been with us for years, and relationships are at the heart of what we do. As our company continues to grow and evolve, we're also focused on something very important to us: building the next generation of our team. We're looking for people who want to learn, contribute, bring new ideas, develop their strengths, and potentially grow into larger roles within the company over time. If you're looking for a workplace where you can build relationships, learn from people who want to see you succeed, contribute your own ideas, and potentially become part of the next generation of Asset Protection Group , we'd love to meet you. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Ready to Take the Next Step? Please email your resume to rricci@assetgroup.us . We look forward to meeting you!
