Licensed Medical Assistant

We are a Clinical Research Site that works with many Pharma Companies. We are hiring for a Medical Assistant licensed in phlebotomy. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience in a team-based environment while assisting in all aspects of medical practice under the direct supervision and responsibility of the site Manager. This position is responsible for patient safety, performing phlebotomy, injections like vaccines, point of care testing, assisting in minor procedures, processing lab specimens, safe operation of medical equipment, providing patient instructions, handling and administering medications according to regulatory standards and organizational policy and procedure under the direct supervision of the site manager and the physician. This position is responsible for the collection, communication, and documentation of accurate patient information/data entries, reports, documentation, calling patients, answering phone calls, and calling patients. Maintaining medical records according to regulatory standards and organizational policies and procedures. Other responsibilities include patient recruit for studies, coordinating requests for information and prescriptions, maintain and preparing patient care areas to ensure efficient, effective and safe patient care delivery. Other duties as assigned by the Manager of the site.
