Job Description

Job brief: We are a florist/wedding and event design company based in Santa Rosa Beach Florida and we are looking for a reliable administrative assistant with excellent grammar and speaking skills to support operations at our flower shop. Assisting our event designers with events (mostly weddings). An employee in this position should have the ability to understand and effectively carry out oral instructions and written orders and be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and coworkers. They will also have to follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following : Answer telephone and take orders. Generating invoices Wait on customers in flower shop. Processing credit card payments. Help with flower deliveries if necessary. Help setting up at events. Keep in contact with repeat customers. Help floral designers on an as needed basis. Work with event designer to fulfill client visions for occasions such as weddings and special events. Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization Perform related work as directed
Qualifications :
Enthusiastic and outgoing personality Reliable and punctual Energetic and highly personable Ability to multitask Experience in customer service industry is a plus Ability to stay calm and think clearly throughout times of immense stress Good organizational and time management skills Reliable transportation Possession of a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record College graduate or working towards a college degree
