POSITION
Service Coordinator Pay:
Based on experience (competitive, with growth potential) A Service Coordinator is the workflow engine of our dealership — the person who keeps work orders accurate, parts moving, techs supported, and the shop running at full speed.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Service Coordinator manages daily service operations by entering work orders, sourcing parts, communicating with technicians, and maintaining fast turnaround. This position ensures smooth workflow from customer drop‑off to job completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work Order Entry — Open, update, and close work orders with accurate labor lines, parts, and notes. Parts Sourcing — Identify required parts, locate vendors, order quickly, and stage parts for techs. Tech Coordination — Relay job details, clarify concerns, prioritize tasks, and keep techs supplied. Customer Updates — Communicate timelines, approvals, delays, and completion status. Workflow Management — Maintain shop flow, reduce bottlenecks, and ensure fast turnaround. Documentation Accuracy — Ensure proper notes, photos, and job details for every unit. Front Counter Support — Assist customers, answer calls, schedule jobs, and support service operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience in RV, truck, automotive, or equipment service preferred Strong ability to multitask in a fast‑paced shop environment Comfortable working directly with technicians and parts suppliers Solid computer skills (DMS, work order systems, email, scheduling tools) Excellent communication and follow‑through Ability to maintain accuracy while moving quickly Strong problem‑solving and urgency mindset
