Job Description
08th September, 2026 RSL Queensland is a dynamic, not-for-profit organisation delivering innovative programs and initiatives that support veterans and their families. After more than a century, our purpose, to provide care, commemoration and camaraderie, is as strong as ever. With Australia's most successful prize home lottery backing us, we're able to provide life-changing support services, fund world-first research, and use state-of-the-art technology to help more veterans in better ways. Now, a little about the role: We're looking for an organised and customer-focused administrator to become the welcoming face of our Toowoomba office. In this varied permanent part-time role (30 hours per week across five days), you'll support veterans, volunteers and community members while helping keep our district operations running smoothly.

•2:00pm This position is office-based, with occasional travel and out-of-hours or weekend work required to support district activities and events. Time worked outside standard hours is returned as TOIL.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide a high level of customer service to visitors, volunteers, veterans and community members Respond professionally and empathetically to inbound calls and enquiries Complete general office administration and coordinate incoming deliveries Assist with meetings, agendas, travel, accommodation, catering and follow-up actions Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports Update directories, collect data and prepare reimbursement claims, correspondence and documentation Participate in district activities and community events as required What's required to succeed: Exceptional customer service supported by strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills A practical, proactive and self-starting approach to work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to bend and reach above shoulder height carrying 5-7kg Current Australian driver's licence Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or ability to obtain one Ability to undertake occasional travel and weekend work Why join RSL Queensland?
