Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Clerical Assistant to join our team! This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to support office operations, enhance administrative efficiency, and provide exceptional customer service. As a key member of our organization, you will help maintain a well-organized workplace by managing various clerical tasks, assisting with communication, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and directing them appropriately Operate multi-line phone systems to handle incoming calls efficiently and courteously Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace Organize and file documents systematically to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping standards Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, and proofreading documents Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally. Proven office experience with strong clerical skills and familiarity with office management procedures Proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Strong typing skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry and proofreading Bilingual abilities are a plus to support diverse client needs Knowledge of phone etiquette and experience handling multi-line phone systems effectively Previous experience as a receptionist in a construction, excavating and trucking office is a plus Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a busy environment Our office is in a professional yet casual family oriented environment. We need someone that has experience, but is not afraid to learn the specifics of our business.
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
