Job Description

Our client, a respected organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative environment while supporting critical financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the accounting team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and month-end closing Maintain and organize accounting records and filing systems Handle communication related to accounts payable and receivable Coordinate meetings, appointments, and other events for the accounting department Assist with data entry, account reconciliations, and audit preparation tasks Support the team in addressing any other administrative needs as they arise
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably within accounting Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) is a plus Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
