Job Description

Position Summary TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a professional and customer-focused Occupational Medicine Front Office Assistant to support a busy Occupational Medical clinic in Augusta, GA. This temporary position will provide administrative and front-office support for employee health services, ensuring a positive experience for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Pay Rate:
DOEKey Responsibilities Greet patients, visitors, and employees in a friendly and professional manner. Answer and direct incoming phone calls. Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow. Perform patient registration and verify demographic information. Maintain accurate records and update information in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Scan, file, and organize medical and administrative documentation. Assist with onboarding paperwork and occupational health related forms. Monitor reception area and ensure a clean, professional environment. Coordinate with clinical staff regarding appointments, screenings, and testing schedules. Handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Provide general administrative support including data entry, copying, faxing, and email correspondence. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous front office, receptionist, administrative assistant, or medical office experience preferred. Experience in a healthcare, clinic, occupational medicine, or physician office setting is a plus. Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems. Ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple tasks. Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of medical terminology. Experience with EMR/EHR systems. Familiarity with insurance verification and patient registration processes. Prior experience supporting employee health, occupational medicine, urgent care, or healthcare operations. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday. Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment for extended periods.
